Completed Loss Report Form to be sent to underwriter, Great American, to begin claim process. MUST have panel in possession at time claim is filed to be available for evaluation.
Claims adjuster is assigned to account
Evaluation & Gathering of Documents
Adjuster to instruct on next steps regarding panel evaluation
Written Statement Form needed with specific details on what happened at time of loss from site
Confirm age of Panel and info on any prior damage known to the panel prior to claim
Evaluation report collected and claim approved or rejected
Great American to Source Repair or Replacement Options
Great American to determine repair center if panel is repairable
If replacement:
- Great American to source options for used or refurbished panels and source replacement
Quote submitted for reinstallation and calibration to claims adjuster including soft costs including shipping fees
Claims to approve prior to install
Settlement Payment
Settlement check issued made payable to appropriate party
Adjuster to work with insured’s designated party, if applicable, to obtain the Assignment of Rights signed by insured if settlement payment is to be made to someone other than the insured
